I am also getting a similar error however I have I have it on Mox and it’s with updated OS

I am using the drive directly with LVM and I am doing IO over iscsi.
Previously I was also tiring over btrfs files (so similar to USB3 device with btrfs crashing) with same problem.
So I would say the USB driver/controller is the issue.
Suggestions welcome.
